Beet and/or banana knifing shanks are single offset staggered fork units with 6″ ID spacing between the knives.
APPLICATION: The staggered fork configuration on the Beet Knife Shank Holder provides more room for shedding of trash and weed foliage between knives which in turn aids in the prevention of “dragging” out crops. Allows beet and/or banana knives to be mounted on existing cultivator bars with a single clamp. See our Flat Shank Clamp below.
Beet Knife Shank Holders are to be used with Beet Knives, Part# CH06LR Crescent Knives or Part# TP09RL Tender Plant Hoe Knives as seen Below:
Part# CH06LR Crescent Knives (sold separately) to be attached to a Beet Knife Shank for cultivating close to a plant row.
Also, Part# TP09RL Tender Plant Hoe Knives (sold separately) can be attached to the Beet Knife Shank Holders.
To attach to the Beet Knife Shank Holders you will need: (2) 3/8″ x 1 1/2″ Carriage Bolts w/ (2) Nuts & (2) Bolts
Then just attach the #BK58 Beet Knife Shank Holder to a Part# S22Wood Flat Shank Clamp
onto a Part# HT02-04-L4 2 x 2 Toolbar for a Part# Cat I 2×2 3 Point Hitch (Not Included).

Tools Needed:
1 5/16” Socket to snug up the Toolbar on the 3 Pt. Hitch
1 1/8 Socket to snug up the Disc Hiller Clamps to the toolbar
9/16” wrench to tighten up the Disc Hillers in the Disc Hiller Clamp
5/8” Wrench to snug up Flat Shank to the Flat Shank Clamp
¾” Wrench to snug up Flat Shank Foot Pieces
(2) 3/8” x 3” bolts and washers to affix the Furrower to the Foot Piece
9/16” Wrench to snug up the bolts to Foot Piece and Furrower
Snug up Elliptical Bolts on S-Tines with 9/16” wrench
3/8” x 3 Carriage bolts for S-Tine Clamps and 7/16” Nuts to fasten the S-Tine Clamps to the Toolbar
11/16” wrench to snug up the bolts on the S-Tine Clamps
