Model KB1355 Weaverline Bale Chopper-Blower 13 hp Honda Landscape Mulcher has 56 Knives and is quality built by the Amish Made Right Here in Pennsylvania

The aggressive 56 knife rotor with a spiral design ensures an even power curve for uniform  continuous cutting with less horsepower. This rotor, with it’s double V belt drive for efficient transfer of power, is the heart of the high capacity Weaverline bale choppers. The top is easily removed for access.

Smooth Operating Adjustable Grate with Six Settings to Control Output and Chop Length – Average chop size is going to vary from 1” to 3” depending on the setting.

Save up to 80% on mulching time over mulching by hand. With the KB1355 Weaverline Bale Chopper-Blower you can mulch a bale of straw in as fast as 30 seconds. With optional flexible hose kits mulch can be placed easily in tight spots around decks and shrubs. The Mulchmaster fits easily onto pickups, trucks or trailers. PTO driven KB1390 for Cat I 3 point tractors 25-40 HP. Achieve an even, stable layer of mulch leaving work areas with a professional look.

56” long x 34” wide x 50” high 56 knives bolted to hex plates Capacity: Approx. 120 bales per hr.

With dry straw the grate can adjust for .5 to 1.5 cut length. While you will have some shorter and some longer mixed as well the majority should be in this range. 

In dry straw blade life is typically 3-5 years with them being flipped once. However dirt gravel rocks or other material will shorten the life dramatically shorten the life of the blades.
